UNIOSUN Uploaded new Admission List on the school Portal 

Are you seeking admission to the Osun State University? Do you know someone who is? Some admission seekers to UNIOSUN were recently lucky to see their admission status as “ADMITTED” on JAMB CAPS but are yet to see the institution upload their names on the school admission portal.

If you fall to the above category or you know some who is, the intuition has finally uploaded the list. Hence, you can now check your admission status on the school portal following the procedures below:

1.    Visit https://admissions.uniosun.edu.ng/returning/
2.    Log in with your JAMB registration number and password chosen during post UTME registration.
3.    After being given admission, candidates must pay N2030 to print his or her admission letter.
4.    And later pay the acceptance fee, register for acceptance, pay for medical and register for medical.

UNIOSUN RELEASES 2017/2018 UTME SUPPLEMENTARY AND DIRECT ENTRY ADMISSION LISTS

The UTME supplementary and Direct Entry lists of 2017/2018 Admission exercise into various degree programmes have been released. Prospective candidates who participated in the Admission screening exercise can check their admission status via the Undergraduate Admissions portal.
All admitted candidates are hereby directed to pay the sum of forty thousand naira (N40, 000.00) only as Acceptance Fees for the Provisional Admission offered.
Payment of the Acceptance Fees is by the UNIOSUN WebPAY platform through the use of Interswitch enabled Debit/ATM cards (Verve, Visa and Master cards). The deadline for the payment of Acceptance Fees is January 15, 2018.
Any candidate who fails to complete the Acceptance and other necessary registration on the portal on or before the deadline will FORFEIT the Provisional Admission offered.

UNIOSUN extends Post UTME Registration Deadline 

NOTICE OF EXTENSION OF CLOSING DATE FOR ADMISSION SCREENING REGISTRATION

This is to inform prospective candidates who made Osun State University their first choice in the last UTME and scored 180 and above, that the deadline for the 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) screening registration has been extended till Friday 22nd September 2017.

OSUN STATE UNIVERSITY 2017/2018 ADMISSION EXERCISE NOTICE OF ADMISSION SCREENING

Notice is hereby given that the 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) screening exercise will hold for candidates who chose Osun State University as their first choice, with a minimum score of 180 and above.
However, candidates that scored less than 200 would not be considered for admission into any of the following programmes:
  • Accounting
  • Economics
  • Business Administration
  • Political Science
  • Nursing
  • Law
Meanwhile candidates who chose any of these courses but scored less than 200 can change to any other relevant programme of their choice.
COMPLETION OF APPLICATION FORMS
Candidates are to register on-line by accessing the University website: http://www.uniosun.edu.ng or http://admissions.uniosun.edu.ng to complete and submit applications. They are expected to print two (2) copies of the application form after submission.
DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES
Direct Entry candidates should complete the form on-line, following the same process as above and ensure that they read the admission requirements of the university before applying to any of its programmes. They are also expected to forward their Academic Transcripts to the Registrar of Osun State University not later than 15 October, 2017. ALL Direct Entry candidates including those of UNIOSUN (IJMB) Programme, who wish to be considered for admission into Osun State University for the 2017/2018 academic session, must have obtained Direct Entry  Forms from JAMB. Such candidates must apply for the screening exercise.
ELIGIBILITYUNIOSUN will admit only candidates who made at least five (5) credit passes in SSCE/NECO/NABTEB in the relevant subjects at not more than two sittings except for Nursing and Law which require ONE sitting. The University also accepts a minimum of Lower credit for Direct Entry candidates. Candidates should meticulously provide their O' Level results on the portal. Any candidate that provides false information would be prosecuted by law enforcement agencies and the admission of such candidates withdrawn once discovered. Candidates awaiting results should supply it within one week of release. Any candidate who fails to participate in the screening exercise will not be considered for admission.
CENTRAL ADMISSION PROCESSING SYSTEM (CAPS)
The 2017/2018 admission exercise will be based on Central Admission Processing System (CAPS), a system designed by Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to automate the admissions process to tertiary institutions

ACCESS TO THE REGISTRATION PORTALVisit the Uniosun Post UTME Portal via http://www.uniosun.edu.ng or http://admissions.uniosun.edu.ng. This will take you to the online Application Platform. Ensure you read all registration guidelines and instructions before proceeding to register.
Payments of N2,000.00 for the Post UTME Screening and N5,500 portal access and administrative fees are through the Interswitch Web PAY platform, using your ATM cards (Master Card, Verve card and Interswitch enabled Cards.)

UNIOSUN Post UTME Screening Schedule Notice

Prospective candidates for the 2017/2018 Undergraduate Admissions are not required to visit any of our campuses for Post UTME screening exam. Screening for admission will be online and based on the VERIFIED JAMB scores and SSCE/WAEC/GCE/NECO results supplied on the Undergraduate Admissions Portal during the screening application.

Direct Entry candidates must forward their academic transcripts to the Registrar, Osun State University before they can be considered for admission.

Candidates using IJMB or A'Level results must also submit copies of their verified results to the Admissions Office on or before portal closure.  Please DISREGARD any prior information on date of examination or screening as this does not apply to any candidate for the 2017/2018 Admissions.

Mount Kenya University (MKU) will start a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree; Accepting  Diploma in Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Technology Mount Kenya University (MKU) will start a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree for students progressing from Diploma in Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Technology following the approval of its plan by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.

The progression study will be known as Bachelor of Pharmacy (Diploma Entry) Programme.

After Npower physical verification, What Next?

This is the question several preselected applicants in the 2017 round of Npower scheme had been asking on the body’s official twitter handle. The preselected 2016 N-build applicants are equally concerned about what the next course of action is.
N-power has initially made it clear that not all the 300,000 applicants shortlisted will be eventually selected for the jobs. Some applicants will be disqualified because of certain irregularities including; over-age, lack of claimed qualifications/credentials and the likes.
