How to check FUNAAB 1st or 2nd batch Admission list.

Are you an admission seeker to the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta? You have been waiting almost endlessly for the school’s admission lists. Do you know someone seeking admission to the school? Here is the good news you have been waiting for.

The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta list is finally out and here is the procedure to follow in order to know if you’re lucky.
  1. As at now, you can only see you admission status through JAMB CAPS. Hence, you will need log into you JAMB profile with your JAMB profile email and its password
  2. At the left side of you dashboard, click on the CAPS link
  3. This will take you to a page where you can click on check admission status
  4. There you should be able to see if you have been recommended for admission by FUNAAB
  5. Accept the admission by clicking on the “Accept” button
  6. After this, go back to your dashboard home and click on check admission status
  7. Take the current year in the dropdown (list of years)
  8. Then, enter you JAMB registration number
  9. Click on Check status
  10. You should be congratulated on your admission
  11. In case you are yet to be admitted, you only need to be checking back as this process is a continual exercise till the end of admission year.
  12. Also, check the admission status directly from the school portal using this link http://admission.unaab.edu.ng/

Entry Requirements
Applicants must possess the minimum entry requirement of five (5) o’level credit passes in the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology at one or two sittings in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB. Applicants are to note that credit pass in Geography is required for Water Resources Management and Agrometeorology.
Direct Entry
OND and HND certificates with good grades in related courses from institution recognized by the University Senate. Candidates with OND and HND certificates should ensure that their Academic transcripts are forwarded to the Coordinator, Part-Time Degree Programme (FUNAAB) not later than 29th December, 2017.
NATURE OF PROGRAMME
Part-Time Degree Programme is a non-residential programme with lectures holding on weekends at the main Campus of the University. Duration of Programme for Agricultural courses is 7 sessions while 6 sessions is for Natural Sciences.

METHOD OF REGISTRATION
  1. Eligible candidates are to access the Federal university of Agriculture, Abeokuta Website (www.unaab.edu.ng) and click on Part-Time Degree Portal or log on to portal.unaab.edu.ng/pt to generate and print their Application invoices stating the payment of a non-refundable fee of Fifteen Thousand naira (N 15,000.00) only (exclusive of bank charges), Reference Numbers and other information.
  2. Candidates should proceed to any of the listed banks (nationwide) on the print-out of the invoice and make payment using the reference number on the invoice.
  3. After payment at the designated banks, candidates are to proceed to FUNAAB Part-Time Degree Programme portal or log on to portal.unaab.edu.ng/pt  to complete the processing of application.
  4. Only completed application forms will be considered for admission.
  5. No complaint of wrong Bio-data, O’ Level results, OND/HND results or blank photograph would be entertained after submission.
  6.  The sale of Application form opens on Monday, 4th September 2017 and closes on Friday, 29th December, 2017.
NOTE: The date for the Screening Exercise would be communicated to all the applicants, Direct entry applicants are exempted from the screening. Candidates should also check the FUNAAB Part-Time admission portal to verify the date and venue of the screening.

FUNAAB Post-UTME result is now Available for Checking: Follow these Steps

The management of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB)  has since uploaded the Post-UTME result to the admission portal. Follow the steps below to check the result.

How To Check FUNAAB Post-UTME Result for 2014/2015 admission

Candidates who want to check the Post UME result of FUNAAB should follow the steps below. Such persons must have taken part in the screening conducted in 2017.

Results of the just concluded Post-UTME Computer-Based Screen has been released. Candidates can access their page and click on the “My CBT Result” link in the Qucik Links Section.

  1. Go to the 2017 FUNAAB result-checker located at http://admission.unaab.edu.ng/login.ph
  2. In the space provided on that portal, enter your JAMB UTME registration number
  3. Click on the ENTER button to login to the portal
  4. After you’re logged in, click on “My CBT Result” directly below “My Application” and you will be directed to a page showing your FUNAAB post result.

FUNAAB 2017/2018 Admission Procedure

All applicants seeking undergraduate admission into 100, 200 and 300 Levels in the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) are hereby invited to apply online for the 2017/2018 Pre-Admission Screening Exercise.

Applications must be from suitably qualified candidates whose have chosen the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) as the Most Preferred Institution on the prescribed form obtainable for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

Applicants must also possess minimum entry requirements of five (5) O’ Level Credits in relevant subjects at one or two sittings in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB and fill in the same results online. Applicants are advised to confirm the Admission Requirements into respective Degree Programmes logging in to fill the e-application form.

Only candidates with completed application before the stipulated deadline will be considered.

Ensure you provide accurate bio-data and academic information when filling your application form.

FUNAAB Application for Admission Stages

Your application is in various stages.

Stage A (Expression of Interest): by inputting your 10-digits JAMB Registration Number, a form is displayed to obtain basic information about you which will be used to generate your Pre-Admission Screening Application Invoice of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000) only excluding REMITA fees. Print the Invoice and proceed to any Bank accepting REMITA payment (nationwide) for payment or pay Online using a Debit Card or Internet Banking.

Stage B (Application): Stage B (Application): at this stage your bio-data, photographs, academic records and other relevant information are collected over several pages. Ensure you save each page as you proceed. You can logout at any stage of the process and pick up from where you stopped later. On the last page (Acknowledgement Page) you will be required to confirm the accuracy of the information supplied. Ensure you carefully review your entry before submission. Note that after submission, you CANNOT readily make any alteration. On submission, print your generated Application Form

After Npower physical verification, What Next?

This is the question several preselected applicants in the 2017 round of Npower scheme had been asking on the body’s official twitter handle. The preselected 2016 N-build applicants are equally concerned about what the next course of action is.
N-power has initially made it clear that not all the 300,000 applicants shortlisted will be eventually selected for the jobs. Some applicants will be disqualified because of certain irregularities including; over-age, lack of claimed qualifications/credentials and the likes. And the support team has promised applicants on the waiting list to be ready as replacement for such disqualified applicants.

Meanwhile, the support team has said the verified applicants to wait for the “next communication” or update from them and avoid reading from unofficial sources.
