Ok, what exactly do you need to know about FUTA admissions forms for pre-degree and UABS programmes? Price, application procedures, closing date and some basics.

FUTA pre-degree programme is a year course like any other schools. An admitted student for this course will be groomed for one year course period and be prepared for 100 level admission of the following year. Hence, all admitted candidates for PDS course must write JAMB UTME for the following year admission. The management will admit the candidate into 100 level of his/her proposed course based on the performance in the PDS course and UTME results.

University Advanced Basic Science (UABS) Programme of the Federal University of Technology, Akure. The UABS Programme is designed to prepare candidates for Direct Entry Admission into 200 Level Undergraduate Degree Programmes. It is full time, and runs for one academic session of Two (2) semesters.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS for Pre-degree and UABS

Candidates should possess five Credit passes in WASC, NECO, GCE at not more than two sittings in relevant subjects from English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Agric. Science, Economics, Geography, Government, Business Studies, Commerce, Accounts, Literature, Christian Religious Studies and History depending on their proposed course of study.

METHOD OF APPLICATION for Pre-degree and UABS

1. Candidates are to pay application fee of Fifteen thousand naira (N15,000.00) excluding bank charges on e-transact basis in any bank that is on e-transact platform.
2. Candidates are to complete and print the UABS/ PDS Application Form online after payment by logging on to the Federal University of Technology, Akure’s website www.futa.edu.ng and click on the online UABS/ PDS Application Form.
3. Submit the Online application form and print out a copy.
4. The application opens on Monday, July 24th, 2017 and closes on Friday, 8th September, 2017

APPLICATION REGISTRATION PROCEDURE for Pre-degree and UABS

1. Confirm your application payment by supplying your confirmation order and receipt number and click on "Confirm Application Payment"
2. If confirmation in (1) above is successful, you will be taken to "Application Login".
3. Login with your Confirmation Order Number and fill the application form accordingly.
4. After filling your application for you must upload your passport and finalize your application to print you acknowledgment and schedule slip

After Npower physical verification, What Next?

This is the question several preselected applicants in the 2017 round of Npower scheme had been asking on the body’s official twitter handle. The preselected 2016 N-build applicants are equally concerned about what the next course of action is.
N-power has initially made it clear that not all the 300,000 applicants shortlisted will be eventually selected for the jobs. Some applicants will be disqualified because of certain irregularities including; over-age, lack of claimed qualifications/credentials and the likes.
